Another cover from this year's Record Store Day contributions has surfaced online, this time with Trivium taking on Type O Negative's 2003 banger 'I Don't Wanna Be Me', which has what might be one of the catchiest choruses ever.
It's a pretty faithful cover of the original, with vocalist Matt Heafy keeping his register low to emulate the late Peter Steele's style. A new coat of 2019 production also really helps the song pop. Have a listen of the cover below:
Trivium also recently released a heavy re-recording of their 2003 track 'Pillars of Serpents', which is well worth a listen for any Trivium fan!
