    Hell, it's about time. Max Cavalera's Soulfly are back with the announcement of their first album since 2015 called Ritual, which will be out on October 19th via Nuclear Blast. There are a couple of special guests who will appear on the album including Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe on the track 'Dead Behind the Eyes' and Immolation bassist and vocalist Ross Dolan on 'Under Rapture'. The band worked with renowned producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira), which Cavalera says was a great experience:

    "Working with Josh Wilbur for Soulfly this time around has been amazing. He's a huge fan and added a lot to the record. I would fight for the fast songs and he would always push me to add more groove. I think in the end we created a really cool mix of songs that covers a lot of ground in my career. Let the Ritual begin!"

    But that's not all! Soulfly have also released the ripper 'Evil Empowerment' from the album, a punching and groovy onslaught with huge vocals from Cavalera. Have a listen below:

    It will be the follow-up to the band's 2015 Archangel.
