You probably know Jimmy "Urine" Euringer as the vocalist from electropunk band Mindless Self Indulgence, but turns out he's been working on his own stuff too. Titled Euringer, his new solo album will be out on October 19 and will feature special guests Serj Tankian (System Of A Down), Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and the synth-pop/electro artist Grimes.
Jimmy has also released a track from the album called 'Problematic', which is a beat-driven, genre-bending song which moves between electronic and real instruments throughout. Lyrically, the song addresses the reactionary sensitivity present in the current political climate. Have a listen and see what you think!
We expect the full album will be all over the place in terms of genres and styles but that's the kinda thing Jimmy makes work really well.
