Last month, Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Jimmy Urine announced a brand new, genre-bending solo project titled Euringer (his birth name) with a debut self-titled album which will officially be out this Friday, October 19.
Urine pulled together a whole bunch of guests from different genres to feature on his tracks including My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way, alt-pop singer Grimes and System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian.
For us, of course, the Serj feature peaked our interest the most, and his chaotic feature track 'If It Ain't You Today It Will Be You Tomorrow' is now available to hear for yourself.
In the dark electronic/pop track, Tankian lets off maniacal bursts of vocals, seemingly enjoying himself as he laughs between lines. You can hear it below:
Tankian spoke to Revolver about his experience on the track:
"Jimmy and I have been friends for years and I was excited to collaborate with him on his record. We're both fans of nutty witty humor, so when he told me to just go off with whatever words come to mind, I grabbed some poetry book titles of mine I had in the vocal booth and randomly spewed them off in the mic. He then cut the ones he liked and mixed them. His record is bombastic and diverse, unlike most shit out there."
Listen to Euringer now.
