    With Record Store Day having just taken place, there's a ton of new vinyl rips online of exclusive tracks recorded for the special day. One of our most anticipated releases - Mastodon's cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway To Heaven' -

    has surfaced, and it's bloody excellent.

    Officially titled 'Stairway To Nick John', the cover was recorded as a tribute to their late manager Nick John, who passed away last year following a battle with pancreatic cancer. 

    The rip includes both sides of the vinyl with the original cover at the start, and then a live recording of the cover at the 8-minute mark, which was actually recorded by Gojira vocalist Joe Duplantier. Check both out below:

    Mastodon also recently released a video series about the making of their 2009 album Crack The Skye to mark its 10th anniversary.
