  • Lacuna Coil Have Released a Heavy New Song Called 'Layers of Time', Listen Now

    Italian gothic metal masters Lacuna Coil recently announced their forthcoming ninth album Black Anima for an October 11 release, and they've now released the first new track from that called 'Layers of Time' which you can check out below.

    Cristina Scabbia has said of the upcoming record: "It might sound really cliché if we say that it's gonna be heavier and darker, but this is actually the truth. Because I don't think that LACUNA COIL has ever been so heavy. And it will be surprising a lot of people, because we experimented a lot of things differently - vocally and musically."

    And boy was she right - 'Layers of Time' is a belter of a track which pulses with power and drive. Andrea Ferro's vocals in particular have aged liked a fine wine, sounding super deep and heavy on this new material:
