Korn appears to be teasing new music.
Keen Korn fans noticed an unexplained QR code on their official website recently that when scanned takes you to an Instagram filter that features someone’s face being squashed by a hand. See the filter in action below, complete with what appears to be an audio tease.
The band has also been sharing this image on their IG stories of late. That QR code has also appeared on a billboard in England, as shared by Kerrang below.

Adding to the intrigue, a selection of Korn posters similar to the one pictured above have begun turning up around Sydney. You can see an example below.
Meanwhile, a team of Korn fans on Reddit sleuthed their way to what seems like a pretty concrete theory about what Korn have in store for us all. The Reddit crew decoding that the seven new songs added to The Best Of Korn playlist on Spotify each have a new mobile visualizer that, when played in order, spell out the word 'Requiem'.
Whether 'Requiem' is a song or an album we don’t know, but we do know that it surely seems to be something and given the band has been publicly speaking about having completed writing their new album for quite some time, there’s a fair chance it is both.
