Complex got their eyes on a leaked internal Adidas memo for the range and have revealed that the Korn x Adidas line will feature custom offerings of the Campus 00s and the Supermodified which fans will be able to pair with seven Korn x Adidas apparel items.
The pending collaborative range is slated for an October rollout, with the Complex story, confirming a tip-off from the sneaker-culture twitter account Kicks Finder in February.
The Korn x Adidas range presents as one of the more natural crossovers between band and brand to emerge from the metal world, with the nu-metal icons infamously having released the song A.D.I.D.A.S. on 1996's Life Is Peachy. The band's aestehtic has always been linked to Adidas apparel, with them having worn 'three-stripes' style tracksuits in vides and photoshoots at various stages of their legendary 30-year career. At one stage the band is said to have received free product from the German sports apparel giant, however Adidas resistance to signing them to an official endorsement, resulting in the band inking a deal with Puma. The price paid for them to abandon Adidas in 1998 was reported at a rather taggering $500,000.
There is no word on what the upcoming Korn x Adidas range will mean for the groups finances, but with the current rise of a new age of nu-metal, there is definitely money to be had.

Korn dropped their 14th studio album, Requiem last year. Dropping into a heavy music world that is currently vibing a nu-metal enaissance, Requiem was conceived out of very different circumstances than the majority of the band’s catalogue. It is an album born of time and the ability to create without pressure. Energised by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven't always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analogue tape – processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music.
The result is the next genesis of Korn. In the weeks leading up to release, we were fortunate enough to sit down for a lengthy chat with the band's legendary guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer to talk about the creative process and origins of Requiem, the secret to the band's longevity and their influence on current heavy music, taking several detours along the way, to gain insight into what the life and drive of one-half of the metal world's most influential and recognisable guitar duos.
