Knotfest Australia has officially sold out.
A week ahead of the Australian debut of the Slipknot-curated music and counterculture experience, organisers have announced that all three dates of the festival have completely sold out.
Headlined by Slipknot the festival lineup features Parkway Drive, Megadeth, Trivium, Northlane, Amon Amarth, In Flames, Spiritbox, Knocked Loose, Story Of The Year, Alpha Wolf, Void Of Vision, Bad Omens and Malevolence.
Organisers have also announced that the timetables for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are now available via the app WOOV. To the delight of metalheads everywhere that news came with confirmation that there will be no clashes between acts, meaning every ticket holder can watch every minute of every band, should they so choose to. This miracle of scheduling will be made possible by bands playing back-to-back between across two main stages for the duration of the day.
The WOOV app also allows Knotfest Australia attendees to create their own personalised timetable for the event and share it with their friends, so no matter what happens, they'll know where to find each other. To access WOOV all Knotfest Australia ticket holders need to do is download the app. While in the app users are encouraged to head to the community tab before Sunday 11.59pm AEDT for a chance to win a signed Slipknot drumhead or a signed poster from the artist of their choice.

In addition to the music, Knotfest Australia will also offer attendees the chance to checkout the Slipknot Museum. An immersive exhibit from throughout Slipknot’s history complete with instruments, memorabilia, wardrobe, and personal never-before-seen items. Take a sneak peek below.
The three-date run of Knotfest Australia will also be Australian maggot's first opportunity to hear tracks from Slipknot's seventh full-length album The End, So Far performed live. To celebrate the widely anticipated release we caught up with Slipknot bass player, Alessandro 'V-Man' Venturella for a discussion about all things The End, So Far, if you haven't already, head on over and give it a read.
