One of our favourite videos/news stories of 2018 was the tale of the hardcore band putting on a show in an abandoned Denny's in the US, but what could make the idea better? How about putting on a hardcore punk show in a real, functioning Denny's?
That's exactly what happened in California recently, when a 17-year-old promoter named Bryson booked the punk band Wacko for his first-ever show at his local diner, and things got pretty wild. The ensuing mayhem resulted in what the company claimed to be $1,000 of damages (pinned onto the young promoter), but the band quickly raised over $1,000 with a GoFundMe campaign to save the day.
