A brand new Australian metalcore band called Faith In Lies has just dropped its debut single 'I Can't Close My Eyes', which you can listen to below.
The band includes members of From Crisis To Collapse, Lycanthrope and Take My Soul, with vocalist Dan Greigsy saying about the new project and song:
“I think that we’re all just really inspired to write some fast and heavy songs with top level musicianship and reunite people with the riffs and the heart within metal music during these turbulent and testing times. To me, I Can’t Close My Eyes is about the surreal experience of being on your deathbed or standing in the face of death, but embracing death in a positive light being proud of what you accomplished and ‘standing tall for the end’ so to speak.”
It's got some pretty classic metalcore vibes that hearken back to some early As I Lay Dying or Killswitch Engage - check out the official lyric video:
