    There has been disbelief and anger amongst Australian horror fans overSony Pictures’ controversial decision to give the remake of 1981 horror classic Evil Deadonly a very limited release to Australian cinemas.


    At this point, it looks like the film will only be making it to 5 cinemas across the entire country. Those in Northern Territory and Tasmania had best start saving for a plane ticket if they plan on seeing this one on the big screen.

    Evil Dead will be available for viewing at the following locations on May 9:

    Dendy Newtown in Sydney
    Cinema Nova, Melbourne
    Cineplex South Bank, Brisbane
    Cinema Paradiso, Perth
    Palace Nova Eastend, Adelaide
