Power metal legends DragonForce are fully embracing a tongue-in-cheek, neon-drenched retro vibe with the announcement of their seventh album called Extreme Power Metal, and the new single 'Highway to Oblivion' which you can check out below.
The song has all the markings of a great DragonForce track with crazy guitar solos from Herman Li, relentlessly galloping drums and classic wailing vocals from Marc Hudson.

The new record will also feature a cover of Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On', which made its waves in the iconic 1997 film Titanic.
Extreme Power Metal is out on September 27 - the same day as other releases by Opeth, Steel Panther, Wednesday 13 and Hellyeah! What a day.
