Coronavirus has been affecting almost every major music event around the world - even Download Australia has been forced to cancel a week out in the wake of the global outbreak which has been delcared a pandemic and affected well over 130,000 people to date.
Code Orange had a special hometown launch show planned for the release of their new album Underneath, but were ultimately forced to cancel. Still, not ones to let anything get in their way, the band decided to live-stream their planned set on Twitch at the empty venue for free, to an audience of around 11,000 live viewers and a very excited chat talking amongst themselves as they ran through a massive set of songs across their last three albums.
The stream was spliced with various animations and intro videos to tracks, making the whole thing a super visceral and heavy experience.
You can watch the entire LAST ONES LEFT performance below:

Code Orange seem to be taking a leaf out of Slipknot's book with the addition of a new masked drummer whose identity is unknown. Our first thought was Mario Duplantier of Gojira as the two share a strikingly-similar playing style, but then Mario doesn't have tattoos so that's our theory shot.
Will this be the future of live shows in times of isolation?
Listen to Code Orange now.
