    Death metal legends Carcass have released a new single titled 'Under the Scalpel Blade', in what marks their first material since their 2013 album Surgical Steel.


    The pounding jam is a rousing masterclass of Carcass riffs, gory lyrics and catchy grooves woven throughout. Have a listen below:

    Carcass' last album Surgical Steel was also their first since 1995 and received critical acclaim, showing that no matter how long the band can disappear for, they will never lose their songwriting spark!


    If you want to catch them live, they'll also be playing at Download Australia in March, along with a smattering of sideshows too:

    Tickets for Perth and Hobart can be bought via Soundworks, while Oztix are selling tickets for Queensland and Moshtix for Adelaide.
