Fresh off a historic headlining performance at the UK Download Festival Bring Me The Horizon have officially announced their new album POST HUMAN: NeX GEn will be released on September 15th.
The announcement of POST HUMAN: NeX GEn follows the release of singles LosT and AmEN! which are understood to be illustrative of the broader sonic palette of POST HUMAN: NeX GEn.
The news of the impending arrival of the latest chapter in their POST HUMAN series was synchronised with the announcement of a headlining tour which will see them play the biggest rooms and arenas of their career.
The album and tour launch were announced via a mass, never done before fan activation that the band hosted across their socials and on site at the Download Festival over the course of the weekend.
Fans were encouraged to follow a series of hidden clues and riddles which led them to a secret building, The Church Of Genxsis, which was on site at Download.
Once inside, fans experienced a variety of immersive Genxsis rituals, including face branding, a sermon and tarot readings as they completed their journey to becoming members.
The headlining tour will see Bring Me The Horizon team up with Bad Omens, Static Dress, Cassyette in arenas across the UK and Ireland, including an historic performance at the 02 Arena. No Australian dates have been announced for the tour as of yet.
Pre-orders for POST HUMAN: NeX GEn are available now.
Their latest single, AmEN! a collaborative effort with rapper Lil Uzi Vert and Glassjaw's Daryl Palumbo incorporates elements of hardcore, post-hardcore and hip-hop to create a chaotic blend of sounds that are glued together by an earworm of a chorus. The contributions from both Lil Uzi Vert and Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo inject the track with a distinct character, with each contribution giving the anti-religious message additional bite, without sacrificing any of Bring Me The Horizon's iconic sonic blueprint.
The band last toured Australia in December, 2022, when they headlined the return of the Good Things Festival.
