It came as a surprise from everybody when a few months ago,Trivium released a statement outlining that the band will be playing with a new drummer instead ofNick Augusto. This was most surprising as the band were in the middle of a tour and have gone on to play shows as though nothing has even happened.

Trivium’s Corey Beaulieu spoke toGetYourRockOutbefore the band’s set atDownload Festivalrecently and revealed that the band are planning on having a new album ready for release next year!

Corey also spoke about how their new drummer is fitting in with the band and whether he’ll become a permanent fixture.
