Around a year or so ago, we learned that Chester Bennington's first band Grey Daze were planning on re-recording some of their older works with Chester until his time of passing in 2017, moving on to enlist the help of Chester's son Jamie, along with members of Korn and P.O.D as well.
The band have now released the first of those works, and they've re-purposed the vocals of a 17-year-old Chester to go on top of the new instrumentals. The track 'What's In The Eye' was originally recorded in the mid 90s. Have a listen to it below:
It's a pretty surreal thing to hear such a young Chester belting out vocals with such aplomb, but it only reinforces how special of a talent he was.
Grey Daze are preparing to release the currently untitled album of works in 2020, though no further information is available yet.
