Thy Art Is Murder have uploaded their entire set from the Melbourne leg of their Decade Of Hate tour to YouTube.
Taking place in January the Decade Of Hate tour was a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of their landmark album Hate, with Thy Art Is Murder joined by luminaries Whitechapel, Chelsea Grin and Spite. With the tour now in the rearview mirror, the homegrown deathcore demigods uploaded a Neil Walters-directed video of the entire set. Featuring a multi-cam set-up and audio mixing provided by Will Putney it is a pristine documentation of an unforgettable night for heavy music fans down under.

Speaking in a statement, guitarist Andrew Marsh explained why Thy Art Is Murder filmed the set and why they opted to release it for free viewing.
“When we set out to record our record Hate all those years ago, none of us could anticipate the ride of a lifetime we were about to embark upon. So it seemed fitting that when we announced this recent Decade Of Hate tour, we were again uncertain about what the shows would hold in store. They turned out to be the biggest of our career."
"Throughout this wild journey, it was only through the undying support of our friends and fans across the world that we were able to traverse these monolithic milestones and for that, we are forever grateful. To have a dream is one thing, but to live it is something truly special and you have given that privilege to us."
“In the last ten years, we attempted to cover as much ground on tour as possible, but this last anniversary tour was rather brief as we prepare for our new record. With the help of our incredible crew, we are proud to give you HATE in full, the way we imagined we might one day be able to one day present the songs. For all those we couldn’t make it to, and for anyone who just wants to relive the experience this video is free forever. Flip the lights out, stick it on the biggest screen in your house and turn it up.”
A towering beast of a record that bludgeons all in its path, Hate was a watershed album for Australian metal that has seen Thy Art Is Murder reign in darkness over the genre ever since.
Upon its release in 2012, Thy Art Is Murder made history as the first extreme metal band to crack the ARIA Top 40, the album also bulldozed its way to number one on the AIR Chart.
Hate also catapulted the band onto the world stage, seeing them play a mammoth 342 dates around the globe, with more US tours than every other Australian band at the time. Thy Art Is Murder continued to smash through ceilings with an appearance at the Big Day Out, becoming only the second extreme metal band to play the festival after Blood Duster. Between laps of the world, Hate was lauded with nominations for both an ARIA and a Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award. The album has been streamed over 55 million times to date.
Thy Art Is Murder recently joined forces with Fit For An Autopsy and Malevolence to release the EP The Aggression Sessions. The spiritual successor to The Depression Sessions split that featured Thy Art Is Murder, Fit For An Autopsy and The Acacia Strain, The Aggression Sessions is home to a punishing new original and a cover from each band. It is the covers segment of the release that has got the metal world talking though. Thy Art Is Murder's faithfully crushing take on Cannibal Corpse's Hammer Smashed Face proving very popular with fans of both bands.
