You probably know what hardcore dancing is. You've probably seen it. Hell, you might have even done it yourself before. But have you ever seen a band fight an audience member using hardcore dancing while the band continues to play as if nothing was happening?
Well you will now, because this video of a Japanese hardcore band playing a show in the city of Sendai seems to be exactly that. Posted to Reddit with the title 'What's going on here?', we're asking ourselves the same thing.
Hilariously, we see the guitarist jump off stage as a man in red pants fights him by throwing down, before the fan jumps back on stage to pick him up and wrestle him to the ground and another band member piles on top of both of them in the process.
The fact that there's no context at all makes it hilarious, and it looks as though it's all part of the fun for them. Kind of like how GG Allin used to fight audience members, except not as fucked up as that. Check out the mayhem:
