Since his days in Pantera, Phil Anselmo has kept busy with a whole bunch of other projects including Down and Superjoint. One of his side-projects Philip H Anselmo and The Illegals has been touring the US at the moment, and some footage from their recent Texas show has emerged showing the band play covers of Pantera's songs 'Domination' and 'Hollow' as tributes to the late Pantera/Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell.
"This goes out to the un-fucking-touchable memory of both Abbott brothers Vince and Dimebag", says Anselmo as the crowd erupt with support and the band rip into the super heavy covers. Check them out below:
Vinnie Paul passed away from coronary heart disease in June at the age of 54, while Dimebag was murdered onstage by an audience member during a Damageplan show back in 2004.
