In the wake of Marvel Comics visionary Stan Lee's passing this week, Brooklyn metalcore trio Mutoid Man have shared rehearsal footage of a cover of the theme song from the 90's animated X-Men TV series. The band were meant to play it at last month's Comic-Con, but they were kicked out of the venue by the fun police for breaching some kind of contract or being too loud or whatever.

Mutoid Man still managed to produce a killer video from Comic-Con, setting up outside the venue instead to shred through some video game soundtracks in front of an interested crowd. You can watch the whole thing below:
Mutoid Man formed in 2012 and consists of Converge drummer Ben Koller, Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, ex-Converge) and bassist Nick Cageao. Their actual songs go pretty hard, but don't take our word for it; check them out in the Spotify playlist right underneath!
