In some very unexpected but incredible new footage, the legendary DJ/electronic producer Moby has joined Rise Against at a secret skatepark show to perform a cover of 'In My Eyes' by the iconic straight-edge hardcore band Minor Threat.
Yes, that is a real sentence. With Rise Against the secret headliners of the intimate show, the 53-year-old Moby came out with a lyric sheet in hand, seemingly embarrassed when he said:
"I'm so ashamed I need a lyric sheet. I've heard it a 1000 times, but I'm so old I need a lyric sheet. I should be reading with bifocals."
But after the song begins, Moby starts jumping around in front of a very enthusiastic crowd, and the lyrics start to come back to him without the need for the sheet. Check out the awesome clip below!
While you might know Moby for his electronic work, he did actually play in a hardcore punk outfit called Vatican Commandos in the '80s and was a guitarist for Ultra Vivid Scene before his career forked off down a different genre.
Listen to Minor Threat now.
