As Korn gear up to take on their three slated US shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal 1998 album Follow The Leader, the band have kicked off a new series called Korn TV 2.0, a reboot of the original Korn TV which documented the recording process of the album back in 1998!
In the first episode we see the band becoming re-acquainted with some songs they haven't played for a very long time.
Although drummer Ray Luzier has probably already heard the album heaps, he must have the biggest learning curve of them all given that it was David Silveria who recorded the original drums and played with them until 2006.
We can also hear Fieldy saying:
"This is a great album, I forgot how good it was...everything just hit so big when it came out, you know, it just blew up. I didn't even get a chance to receive it because I was always signing or giving, and it was so overwhelming that I didn't really get a chance to receive and listen to it."
Check out the rehearsal footage below!
Of course, we'd love to get this tour here in Australia; there were talks of it happening earlier in the year but nothing has yet been officially announced. Korn are also expected to have a new album ready in 2019, so you can bet your bottom dollar we'll be all over any news as it happens!
Listen to Korn now.
