There's a fine balance between overplaying and underplaying the drums, especially when it comes to metal. So is it better to have more complicated drums or is less really more?

YouTuber Jared Dines attempts to answer that question by inviting Avenged Sevenfold's drummer Brooks Wackerman to play with him over a backing track to see which style sounds better.

While Jared's skills behind the kit aren't bad at all, his approach to the song is much more basic than Wackerman's complex (but amazing) playing.
