The metal forces of Gojira and Deftones have combined for a blistering tribute to Brazillian metal gods Sepultura.

Gojira’s latest album, Fortitude, one of our 20 best albums of 2021, saw the French metal outfit continue going from strength to strength with each release, landing at #3 on the ARIA charts here in Australia and propelling them further into the international metal spotlight.
When we caught up with drummer Mario Duplantier last year, he expressed he was thankful their previous 2016 studio album, Magma, landed them global recognition and was particularly stoked by the love felt in their home country, France.
“We got nominated for the Grammys, we got the attention of the media in France for the first time - because France is not a rock country - we were invited on the T.V. shows...we felt great, you know, it’s always so good to feel the love from the community, the fans.”
