While we anxiously await any details for a new Deftones album, frontman Chino Moreno has been busy popping up in places you wouldn't expect to see. The latest appearance comes from The Smashing Pumpkins' special 30th anniversary show where the band brought out a whole bunch of special guests to help them through the set including Courtney Love, Chino, Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath, AFI's Davey Havok and members from The Killers.
Moreno joined the band to play the song 'Bodies' from their seminal 1993 album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, and 'Snail' from their 1991 LP Gish. Chino's voice is beautiful as always and lends itself very well to both of the tracks. You can check both out below:
The Smashing Pumpkins also covered Judas Priest's 'Breaking The Law' with Mark McGrath:
Man, we can't wait to hear Moreno's golden pipes over some new Deftones songs. Come on, guys!
