In case you missed it, the titans of prog metal Tool have announced their new album will be out on August 30, despite most fans prematurely resigning to the fact that it would never see the light of day.

In some new Tool-related news that's also quite astonishing, the band have finally released their music onto streaming services for the first time ever.

Well, sort of - it's only their first demo 72826 and it's still missing from Spotify, but you can find it on Google Music, Apple Music, Pandora and YouTube.

No word on the rest of the catalogue, but maybe it's a deliberate part of the lead-up to whatever it is they are putting out next!
