Who doesn't love a good trip down memory lane? Or watching musical masterminds join forces to create something unforgettable?
We do too - and what better way to scratch both of those itches than a legendary collaboration between Tool and Layne Staley in 1993?!
The footage below comes from the inaugural Big Melee festival in Hawaii, when Tool were joined on stage by Alice In Chains' frontman Layne Staley to perform their track 'Opiate' on a beach.
The video also features a mild crowd full of topless dudes, but at least the sound quality is actually pretty decent for such an old video:
Tool had just released their debut album Undertow earlier that year, while Alice In Chains were riding the huge success of their seminal 1992 album Dirt.
The massive festival lineup also consisted of Primus, Violent Femmes, Stone Temple Pilots and Fishbone, which would have been amazing to witness in the flesh.
You will forever be missed, Layne!
