It's been a long road back, but The Ghost Inside have fully returned with their first new song since the fatal bus accident in 2015 which hospitalised all members and killed both drivers.
They've also announced a new self-titled record, which will be out on June 5, making it the first album from TGI since 2014's Dear Youth. The band say of the new music:
At long last we want to share the first single from our next album. This song is called Aftermath. It is a tribute to the community that supported us, stood by us, and raised us from the ashes. This album is called The Ghost Inside. It is proof positive that the strong survive and the beat does go on. Watch the video for Aftermath and preorder the album at theghostinside.com Available everywhere June 5. #TGIForever
The new song 'Aftermath' is an extremely powerful and positive track, holding all the melodic and heavy elements that The Ghost Inside fans have come to know and love.
It comes with an the accompanying music video which is a pretty emotional ride with footage of members learning to walk again in hospital placed next to footage of their massive LA reunion show in 2019:
The Ghost Inside prove that almost anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Legends!
