The Butterfly Effect have announced a 20th-anniversary tour for their landmark debut full-length Begins Here.
Set to kick-off in the first week of February 2023, the tour will see the band play Begins Here in full for the first time ever. The setlists will be completed by a selection of tracks from across their celebrated catalogue, including standout cuts from 2022's IV.
Released August 3, 2003, Begins Here spawned four massive singles, One Second Of Insanity, Crave, Always & Beautiful Mine, with all four appearing in triple j's Hottest 100 countdowns across 2003/2004. The album peaked at #23 on the ARIA Album Charts, topped the Independent charts and was included in the top 10 albums of 2003 by the UK's Kerrang! Magazine and was certified Gold!
Fittingly for a band loved across the nation, the tour will see The Butterfly Effect play every mainland capital city, with shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.
Tickets for the tour are on sale Thursday, 10th August at 9 am local time, via Destroy All Lines. There will also be two pre-sales offered, with one for The Butterfly Effect mailing list opening to subscribers on Monday, Auguest 7th at 9 am local time, this will be followed by an Early Bird pre-sale offered by Destroy All Lines which begins on Tuesday, August 8th at 9 am local time.
