    Sleepwave is the new band from former Underoath singer Spencer Chamberlain, featuring new band mate Stephen Bowman. Epitaph is pleased to release the much anticipated debut album from Sleepwave, Broken Compass, on September 12.

    Now come Sleepwave with their debut album Broken Compass, the next step in the evolution of Spencer Chamberlain. With an even more melodic, accessible sound, sacrificing none of the intense songwriting that garnered Underoath and a massive following, Broken Compass is sure to put Sleepwave on the map from day one; working with producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice and Men), the band has crafted an album of intense anthemic rock.

    Alternative Press put Sleepwave on the cover of their Most Anticipated issue in 2013, and described the band as “unbridled alt-rock , harkening back to the amped-up mania of classic songs by Smashing Pumpkins and Filter.
