Shaman's Harvest are back and they're battling some inner demons on moody new single Voices

A slow-building alt-rock track with a soaring chorus and more than a hint of some southern blues, Voices is everything the hard rock world has come to love about Shaman's Harvest condensed into one song.

Accompanied by a dimly lit video that deftly displays the battle between destructive inner voices and a rebellious creative mind, Voices is Shaman's Harvest fighting their way out the dark and stepping boldly back into the light of rockstardom.

Vocalist Nathan Hunt explains the creative process that led to Voices.

Voices, mostly was one of the songs written in the small hours of the morning. After exhausting and frustratingly scrapping an idea for a different tune, Voices just came organically. The melody effortlessly wormed its way into the song. Then we had a choice. Whether to make it a verse chorus bridge a/b/c type song or to make it more of an epic linear style complete with guitar solo. We chose the latter, and brought in some group vocals backed by a stomp clap groove that gives the song an anthem feel the album needed.

Guitarist Josh Hadler elaborates on how the tonal quality of the song is aligned with the narrative.

Voices’ is a song that blends dark and light. From the somber verses to the lifted anthemic choruses, it captures the full spectrum of emotion brought on by your own worst enemy... yourself.

Voices is the second shot of new music we've had this year from Shaman's Harvest, following Bird Dog which dropped in May, following a five year gap between releases.

It is good news for fans of the Missouri band, who have a combined 250 million plus streams, with over 200 million streams in the US alone, and who have toured with the likes of Godsmack, Nickelback, AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Alice In Chains and Seether.
