Sepultura's current drummer Eloy Casagrande is easily one of the best metal drummers in the world, combining a monstrous hitting power with flying speed and mind-boggling technique to boot. He's also got his own YouTube channel, where he recently uploaded a cover of Metallica's 'Battery', and holy hell is it sick.
Eloy absolutely slays the original track but adds his own style in with thundering double kicks and vicious fills to make the whole thing hit super hard.
Not only that, but Lars didn't record the original song using a click track, so the tempo changes slightly throughout, but Eloy still manages to stay bang on even with all the extra bells and whistles.
