  • Ren and Stimpy Meets Mad Max in GWAR's New 'Viking Death Machine' Video

    Thrash metal icons Gwar have always had an over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek take on music (remember when they pretended to decapitate then Prime Minister Tony Abbott at Soundwave 2014?), and their latest music video for 'VIking Death Machine' doesn't try to be anything different.

    Taken from their most recent album The Blood Of Gods, the animated video is hugely-stylistic in the way that reminds us of a mix between Ren and Stimpy characters set in the world of Mad Max, and it's completely awesome. Check it out for yourself:

    One point of interest in the video is at 4:07 when former band member Oderus Urungus appears in the sky to salute the winners of the death race in which the video takes place around.

    Oderus was of course played by Dave Brockie, who passed away in 2014 from an overdose.
