    Well this is a thing - if you've ever wanted to surprise your mates on their birthday or get a shoutout from a musician you love, there's a site called Cameo which let's you do exactly that.

    It started back in 2016 and basically allows you to choose from notable figures in entertainment who have signed up to the site then pay them a pre-determined sum to have them record a short video with a script you provide.

    There are a ton of metal musicians who are on the website including members of Slayer, Steel Panther, Trivium, Megadeth and way more to choose from.

    You can head over to the Cameo site to see the entire list of metal musicians you can have record you a message, but here are just a few:

    - Ronnie Radke (ex-Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse) - $75
    - Ice-T (Body Count) - $350
    - Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus) - $25
    - David Silveria (ex-Korn) - $30
    - Michael Starr (Steel Panther) - $69
    - Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) - $50
    - David Ellefson (Megadeth) - $25
    - Orianthi - $80
    - Herman Li (Dragonforce) - $35

    We're willing to bet that paying $25USD for Slayer guitarist Gary Holt to shout out your band or wish your unsuspecting friend a very metal birthday is pretty damn good value!

    Obviously there'd be some rules in place as to what you can have them say, but the possibilities are almost endless!
