We can imagine it wouldn't be the easiest time to be getting a band off the ground right now (especially in Melbourne), but Priorities are not letting a pandemic get in the way of making a huge first impression with their debut single 'If I Believed'!
It's a potent blend of 2000's era metalcore with a more modern edge that glides between deep melody and crushing heaviness, with a breakdown right at the end that leaves you wanting more.
It's also pretty rare to hear such an accomplished sound from a band's very first output - a clear sign of some great things to come from Priorities further down the track!
Check it out for yourself below:
This debut track comes from a personal place for vocalist Mitch Sigge, who says it's "...about the feeling of helplessness I had in myself during a dark time in my life. It was my expression of what it’s like when your world crashes around you - and not knowing where to go from there."
Obviously things are pretty hectic in the state of Victoria right now with a stage 4 lockdown in effect, but you best be sure we'll be catching these guys live once shows are finally happening again!
