Melbourne stalwarts of melodic death metal Orpheus Omega have today treated us with a brand new official video for Suffer, a brutal new track from their forthcoming record Wear Your Sins!
Our first thought when we saw this creepy new video was that it reminded us a little of The Ring and it looks like we were definitely on to something when you see what the band had to say about it.
"The track is about impending doom and the things we choose to ignore that harm us. The idea was to make a song that was unrelenting and different from what we have done before" explains guitarist Joao Goncalves.
"The inspiration [for the video] was horror movies and the things that make us uncomfortable, thus the contorting of the antagonist. It was the one song we didn’t make changes to after preproduction as it was perfect as it was and that’s why we wanted to release it first. It’s nonstop and unforgiving and it captures the mood of the album overall in its darker tone"
