It's kind of ironic that one of Australia's most disgustingly-heavy bands hails from such a small and quiet town, and Port Macquarie's Letterbomb A.D. are today delivering a brash slap to the face with their huge new single 'Dystopia'.
A mix of violent, dissonant shredding and crushing, down-tuned chugs, 'Dystopia' is the aural equivalent of sticking your head inside a hornet's nest for three and a half minutes, and frankly, it's the best kind of pain.
It's also super impressive that Letterbomb A.D. have managed to pull off such a complete and pummeling sound with just three members, with drummer Garrett McMaster laying down the brutal vocals on this one too.
The combo of deathcore and chaotic hardcore is reminiscent of bands like The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza and some older gems like Adelaide's The Rivalry - check out the lyric video below:
Letterbomb A.D put out their debut self-titled EP in 2018 and have (unsurprsingly) already been picked to share the stage with the biggest of names in Australian heavy music including Thy Art Is Murder, Northlane, Make Them Suffer and Alpha Wolf.
