If you've been on the hunt for new Australian heavies to sink your teeth into, you're not going to want to look any further than Brisbane's Frailmind, whose crushing new single 'I, Expire' is premiering below!
Frailmind do a great job of infusing nu-metalcore characteristics into a raw and pummeling hardcore base sound, which ends up as a pretty delicious and pit-worthy concoction.
The band's vocalist Keenan Kuz says he penned the lyrics to 'I, Expire' with mental health and illness in mind, saying:
"...this song puts into words the emotions, experiences, and journey of mental illness, that myself and many others have experienced in life. Specifically, putting trust into people that aren't worth your time, and fighting through hardships growing up."
Mental health is a really important topic to discuss and tackle, as it often goes unnoticed and needs to be addressed. Now more than ever people experiencing mental illnesses need support, considering the global pandemic is causing mass isolation."

Frailmind were born in late 2019 from the remnants of various local hardcore/metalcore bands, banding together to enter 2020 with an ultra-heavy EP Mortal - a sound which seems to be evolving and tightening as the band continues on!
You can stream Mortal below if you want to hear more from the guys!
