Wollongong's Alienist are pretty fresh out of the block, but they've hit the ground sprinting with their huge, heavy new single 'Severance', which you can hear below before it arrives on streaming platforms this Friday (May 8).
'Severance' is only the second single the band have released since forming last year, but Alienist display a level of songwriting many bands don't hit until multiple releases in. It does a good job of evoking vibes found in bands like Alpha Wolf, Polaris and Architects, so if you're a fan of any of those bands, there will be lots for you to love here too!
Guitarist Damon Renes says that:
"Severance is an energetic and fierce track telling a story about a man who cuts himself off from the world as it is today."
