Adelaide metalcore five-piece Alda Sky have returned with a fierce new single called 'Unfavoured', which marks the band's first material since the release of their debut EP Reflections in 2017.
The track evokes a sense of desperation using deep melodies in tandem with heavy flourishes, and lyrically takes inspiration from the struggle of feeling wanted and connected in a world which has become white noise with billions of voices. Vocalist Josh Badcock says:
"all the while we suffer as rejects and second class citizens, we witness the ruling elite impose systems of fear and control, whilst the world fights itself over irrelevant issues. Dealing with all of these issues, it becomes a struggle knowing who to trust and whether trying to live a 'normal' life is better than looking for the quickest way out."
