    San Francisco's death metal legends Possessed have been working on their third album Revelations Of Oblivion since 2012, and they've announced that it will finally be out on May 10!

    What makes this such big news is that it will be the first full-length release from the band in over three decades, with their last two albums Seven Churches and Beyond The Gates coming out way back in 1985 and 1986 respectively.

    Possessed have churned through exactly 26 members since their formation in 1983, and vocalist Jeff Becerra is the only current member who was also in the band for their first releases.

    You can check out a new single called 'No More Room In Hell' below, which shows that the old-school death metal vibes are still well and truly there:

    Possessed are often credited by many as one of the most influential bands in the genre, so it's great to see such a legendary band returning to the fold!
