Australia's biggest heavy exports Parkway Drive have done their bit towards helping recover from the devastating bushfires which ravaged large parts of the country over the last couple of months.
The band created a GoFundMe in early January to raise money towards WIRES, a NSW-based wildlife rescue organisation, and Red Cross Australia.
After kickstarting the campaign with $50,000 of their own money, it went on to officially raise $129,544, which will be evenly split between the two charities.
We have now closed our Bushfire Relief Fund and proud to say we raised $129.544. This will be evenly split and released to both @RedCrossAU and @WIRES_NSW. Thank you immensely for your support and raising these much needed funds with us! pic.twitter.com/MpxMMu5bb1
