We've been recently sharing uploads from the new YouTube channel Liberated Tape Archive, which has been unearthing previously-unseen footage from a plethora of heavy bands throughout the 90's and into the mid 2000's.
Much to our delight, the channel has tapped into a piece of Australian history, uploading a Parkway Drive set from May, 2005 shot at the Batman Faukner Inn in Launceston, Tasmania!
While the footage isn't quite as clear as some of the channel's other concerts, it's pretty surreal and amazing to witness a band already making waves before they'd released their debut album Killing With A Smile in September that year.
Here's the set:
0:25 - Gimme AD
3:54 - Anasasis (Xenophontis)
6:37 - Looks Like Yoda
8:37 - Picture Perfect, Pathetic (parts)
10:20 - Romance Is Dead
15:10 - Dead Dreams
19:05 - Mutiny
23:19 - Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'Em
It's crazy to think that this band would go on to headline some of the biggest festivals in the world in front of gargantuan crowds! We feel like such proud parents.
In other relevant news, the band just announced that they have postponed their upcoming Viva The Underdogs Australian tour until July 2021.
Listen to Parkway Drive now.
