In some pretty awesome news, original members of Arch Enemy have re-formed under the name Black Earth, and have released two new songs that you can listen to below!
The group consists of vocalist Johan Liiva, guitarists Michael and Christopher Amott, drummer Daniel Erlandsson and bassist Sharlee D’Angelo. All members except D'Angelo were in Arch Enemy for both their first and second albums, while all five formed the lineup for the third record Burning Bridges.
While Michael Amott, Daniel Erlandsson and Sharlee D'Angelo are still in Arch Enemy today, vocals have since been taken over first by Angela Gossow, and now Alissa White-Gluz since 2015.
Technically speaking, that means these two new songs called 'Life Infernal' and 'Burn On The Flame' are the first material from this lineup since 1999!
They're pretty sweet songs too - check them out:
The two new recordings are a part of the group's Path Of The Immortal compilation, which is a remastered collection of old Arch Enemy tracks.
