Nandi Bushell has turned up the difficulty level on her latest upload, crushing the complex Tool song Forty Six & 2.
The prodigious percussive talent whose fans include rock icon Dave Grohl showcases a quickly developing skillset, nailing all of the trickiest passages in the video cover which you can see below.
Bushell gave credit to drummer Danny Carey's abilities, stating the song is the most challenging cover to learn and perform so far.
"This really was the most challenging drum cover I have done, so far, lots and lots of complex timing changes and difficult patterns, it's really fast in parts and it's [a] really long song too! I really enjoyed the challenge!!! I am now a #ProgRock fan! #DannyCarey - AMAZING beats! My Uncle Ema LOVES Tool. He has been playing me all their songs hoping I will cover one for a very long time. This one is for you Uncle Zombie. Tool are my most requested band to cover!"
Forty Six & 2 was released on Tool's 1996 album Ænima album and it seems that many of Bushell's subscribers are fans, with the video already racking up over 100k views in the first two days, drawing likes and praise in the comments section. There's no word on whether Carey has seen the video yet, but we're sure it would provide a nice distraction from his current predicament.
YouTube sensation Bushell's previous covers have earned over 350k subscribers and 54 million views on social media, with covers of classic and contemporary rock artists. Bushell has also infamously performed Everlong live with the Foo Fighters, the video for which can be seen below.
