    This is it elder emo kids. The day we've all been waiting for has finally arrived, the leaders of the black parade themselves, My Chemical Romance are back with new music! The band released their first new original song since 2014, the slow-burning,  The Foundations Of Decay this morning and it's fair to say we are absolutely okay with this!

    That's right, this is not a fever dream, this is reality and in this reality My Chemical Romance's first single since 2014 and it is everything you'd hope it would be and more. Slow building, brooding, anthemic, drenched in emotion and yet somehow still bleeding jubilation, the six-minute track is a reminder of why My Chemical Romance are the undisputed icons of the MySpace era. 



    With just over nine months until the band will hit Australia for their first Australian tour since the 2012 Big Day Out Aussie fans have enough time to learn every single word of The Foundations Of Decay to sing right back at them.
