It's been a massive year for Melbourne metalcore outfit Alpha Wolf, who have seemingly positioned themselves as one of the biggest emerging heavy bands in the country. Following the release of their massive first single 'Black Mamba' with their new vocalist Lochie Keough earlier in the year, they've now put out a devastating follow-up single called 'No Name'.
It's definitely a step up in heaviness for the band, using a mix of tough down-tuned chugging and two-step passages to create a brutal hurricane of sound.
Guitarist Sabian Lynch comments that the song is about a place “Where all of your emotions are nullified and you feel painfully outcast; finding yourself in a deep dark hole and believing that shutting out everything and everyone around you is your only option.”

Dudes have been hustling hard in 2018 and have been rewarded with a spot on Europe's 2019 Impericon Festival which will feature Emmure, Stick To Your Guns and heaps more. The release of 'No Name' is seemingly timed to coincide with their upcoming co-headlining tour with Greyscale label-mates Justice For The Damned, who also just released a new banger, and Diamond Construct.
