Love And Death have dropped the second single called 'White Flag' from their upcoming sophomore record Perfectly Preserved, which arrives on February 12.
The project came about as a rebranding of the solo material from Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, but also includes Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch, and it'll be their first release in eight years after their 2013 debut Between Here & Lost.
Thankfully the new single isn't a Dido cover, but it's something much heavier - have a listen below:
Head says of the new record:
“COVID brought a lot of turmoil, but it brought a lot of time, so we jumped in and finished what we needed to finish. I feel like Love & Death — the narrative was it’s my solo deal. This project… it’s not a Head solo band, it’s a project that’s turned into something really great on this new record and I think people are really gonna feel that.”
Perfectly Preserved will also include the song 'Lo Lamento', which the band released back in 2016, and will also feature guest appearances from Lacy Sturm (Flyleaf) and Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin).
Check out the first single 'Down' too, which sounds like a nice mix of Korn and Breaking Benjamin! Can't wait for this one.
